| Biography | Are you experiencing difficulties with sex, intimacy or communication in your relationship? Perhaps something has changed but you are unsure why, or you feel stuck trying to resolve things alone. I’m Nia – a Clinical Psychosexologist, Registered Nurse and COSRT-Registered Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, offering specialist support for individuals and couples experiencing sexual and relational concerns. Many people I work with notice that something in their sex life or relationship no longer feels the way it used to – whether that involves changes in desire, difficulties with arousal or orgasm, pain during sex, sexual confidence, communication challenges, betrayal, trauma or major life changes. Others are seeking support while exploring kink, polyamory, sexual identity, neurodivergence, disability or the impact of illness on intimacy and relationships. My background combines specialist psychosexual and relationship therapy training with an MSc in Psychology and over 12 years of healthcare experience, allowing me to consider sexual concerns through physical, emotional and relational perspectives. My approach is practical, collaborative and evidence-informed. I aim to help you understand what is happening, identify patterns that may be contributing, and work towards meaningful change. Starting therapy New clients often opt to begin with my Clarity Analysis – a focused process designed to help us understand your concerns and identify the most appropriate next steps, whether that is therapy or another form of support. You can read more about this on my website. If you feel you’d like to proceed straight to regular therapy sessions, that is also an option. Areas of support include:
If your concern does not fit neatly into a category, that is absolutely fine. Many people begin their therapy journey without knowing exactly what is happening or why. Approach
