Biography

I was drawn to this work because I’m fascinated by how we love, desire and relate to ourselves, our bodies and other people.

Sex and relationships can be some of the most rewarding parts of our lives, but they can also be where things become complicated. Perhaps sex has become difficult, painful or disconnected. Perhaps your desire has changed, you and your partner want different things, or you keep having the same conversation without getting anywhere. Maybe you’re carrying sexual shame, feel uncomfortable in your body, or are trying to make sense of something that has happened in your relationship.

Sometimes we know exactly what the problem is. Sometimes we just know that something doesn’t feel quite right.

I work with individuals, couples and people in consensually non-monogamous and other relationship constellations, exploring sex, intimacy and relationships with more understanding, connection, pleasure and ease. I’m particularly interested in the ways sex and relationships intersect with identity, body image, shame, attachment and life transitions.

My approach is embodied, relational and pluralistic. We don’t only talk about what is happening; we also pay attention to what happens in your body, your emotions and, importantly, in the relationship between us. I work a lot with what is happening in the here and now, because patterns that happen outside the therapy room can sometimes emerge between us too. This gives us the opportunity to notice and explore these patterns as they happen, rather than only talking about them in the abstract.

I also believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I adapt how we work to your needs and ways of processing, and I’m neurodivergence-affirming in the rhythm, structure and style of my work. I aim to bring curiosity and warmth to the therapeutic process, while creating a space where, over time, the parts of ourselves that have felt judged, neglected or criticised can begin to feel more seen, held and understood.

I am sex-positive and kink-aware, and welcome people of all genders, sexualities, ages, backgrounds and relationship structures.
