Spencer Barron

Hello, I’m Spencer, I have over fifteen years of experience working with individuals and groups in various capacities. I conduct my private practice in North West and South West London. I provide an integrative humanistic approach (which means drawing from varied therapeutic approaches and interventions), striving for connectedness in the here and now. I meet you exactly where you are, open to the journey we take together on the path of therapy. I’m a capable but not infallible guide, helping you to recover your own aliveness and to connect with the wisdom that has come from your life experience. I am willing to go to challenging places. I’ve worked hard to understand myself. I’ve come a long way and I consider myself to still be on the path of self-discovery.  In addition to my private counselling practice I work within the NHS, as well as charities supporting people with various difficulties, including schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder and autism. I have studied many personal development practices both east and west, ancient and modern, I have a decades long meditation practice and I lead regular weekly support groups, workshops and retreats focusing on self-awareness, authentic communication and awakening.
