| Biography | I am very passionate about my work as a therapist and take great pride in the flexibility my integrative training provides. This is because it allows sessions to be shaped by your needs, not by a rigid method. You might come needing a space to carefully unpack the past, or you might be looking for practical tools to build a different future. You may have a specific event in mind, or you may simply feel that you need to be in therapy, without knowing exactly why. Whatever brings you here, we will give our work the space and flexibility it needs to unfold. To help the therapy take its shape, I draw on several ways of working that I have found to be consistently effective. These include: Internal Family Systems (IFS) for processing deep memories and somatic work; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for cognitive restructuring and developing practical next steps; and Attachment theory and relational work (meaning I’m interested in what comes up between us) to create insight and change. Further to this, an area of my work I am particularly proud of is my current training in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. I find it a privilege to help people explore the complexities of sex, intimacy, and connection in a safe, compassionate space. I believe that by learning the language of our bodies – and understanding the stories they hold – we can move beyond specific challenges like mismatched desire, performance anxiety, or other sexual difficulties, and build a more confident, connected, and fulfilling relationship with our own sexuality and with our partners. |
