Biography

I am a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist as well as being psychosexual and relationship therapist (both COSRT and UKCP accredited). I work with individual men and women as well as with couples who are experiencing relationship and/or sexual issues.

I have worked across a wide range of clinical settings including the NHS, charity run organisations, hospices, leading therapy providers and private practice. My clinical experience covers a wide range of issues: bereavement, trauma, rape, life-threatening illness, violence (both domestic and social), addiction, parental issues, couple and family concerns, anorexia, self-harming, sexual/relationship issues, as well as a wide range of mental health issues such as depression, bipolar, suicide and chronic fatigue and pain. This work has been across a wide range of ages, ethnic groups and LGBTQ+ identifications.

My PhD research focussed on the sex lives of heterosexual couples. I am also a Clinical Expert for the men’s sexual Health website, MojoMen. As well, I am a regular contributor to articles on sex, relationships and sexual wellbeing in the Guardian, Independent, Huffington Post, the Time, the “I” and lifestyle websites such as Peppy.

I am a Board trustee of COSRT. I have been named as one of London’s top sex therapists by the Evening Standard.
