| Biography | Trauma informed psychosexual therapist and EMDR practitioner. Skilled in all areas of psychosexual therapy, PTSD/C-PTSD trauma recovery, sexual rehabilitation following cancer, GSRD/LGBTQ+. I am skilled in all areas of psychosexual therapy including male and female sexual difficulties and dysfunctions (interest/desire; arousal disorders, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, orgasm difficulties, sexual pain disorders); sexuality, GSRD therapy; compulsive sexual behaviour; difficulties due to trauma & complex trauma, especially sexual trauma, childhood sexual abuse. Working with individuals and couples using an approach looking at problems from physical, psychological and relational viewpoints, in essence offering integrated therapy and sexual rehabilitation. I combine my nursing (cancer nurse specialist) and psychosexual therapy expertise and use a variety of approaches including CBT, acceptance therapy, EMDR, Flash Technique, somatic-embodied therapy and mindfulness. |
