Biography

I am a specialist psychosexual and couples therapist with over 30 years’ clinical experience. I trained at Tavistock Relationships, where I gained two Masters-level qualifications and where I continue to work as a tutor and supervisor.

I offer a warm, non-judgemental space for individuals and couples to explore intimacy difficulties, desire differences, sexual dysfunction, communication breakdown, infidelity, and the emotional impact of separation and divorce. I also offer expert support for those affected by childhood abuse, domestic abuse, sexual violence, and trauma.

I have a particular interest in neurodivergence, including Autism and ADHD and how these affect relationships, intimacy, and emotional wellbeing.

I work psychodynamically, drawing on attachment-based and trauma-focused methods, alongside EMDR and NLP. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists and counsellors working with complex relational and psychosexual issues.

All sessions are online via Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, FaceTime, or phone.

Registrations: BACP, COSRT, EMDR (UK and Ireland).

Types of Therapy Used

I work psychodynamically, drawing on attachment theory and relational models as the foundation of my practice. Alongside this, I integrate behavioural and cognitive techniques, psychoeducation, EMDR, and NLP, tailoring my approach to what each client needs. For couples, I focus on communication patterns, intimacy difficulties, desire differences, and the emotional dynamics that shape relationships. For individuals, I work with sexual dysfunction, the impact of trauma and abuse, identity and self-esteem, and the intersection of neurodivergence with relationships and intimacy. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists and counsellors working with complex relational and psychosexual presentations.
