| Biography | You may be struggling and not sure where to seek help. Whatever brings you here, therapy is a space where all of you is welcome — including the parts that feel uncertain, confused, or difficult to talk about. Therapy can be a place to untangle complex feelings, reflect on your experiences, and begin to move towards greater understanding and connection — with yourself and others. Do email me for enquiries. You might be facing challenges such as:
I use several theoretical models and approaches depending on the presenting issues and personal life experiences, which is collaborative, inclusive, and nonjudgmental. I work with individuals, couples, and young people from all backgrounds, with openness and respect for their values, identities, and experiences. I’m an accredited Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist (PGDip), with additional specialist training in working with couples (one-year certificate in couples work, NAOS). I’m also a qualified EMDR therapist, offering trauma-informed support. I am accredited with both COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists) and the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society), reflecting my commitment to safe, ethical, and inclusive practice. I have worked extensively in the NHS as a psychosexual and relationship Therapist since 2012. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the NHS in a variety of roles, including midwifery, oncology nursing, sexual health and contraception, and as a sexual health outreach nurse for young people. This experience helps me to understand how physical health, medical treatment, and life changes can affect not only the body, but also emotional well-being, relationships, and sexual confidence. I take a holistic approach to therapy, recognising that sexual difficulties often involve a mix of physical, psychological, and relational factors — and I aim to support you in understanding and addressing all of these, safely and respectfully. I work in Hampshire, near Winchester, and also in North Devon near Barnstaple.. I offer both face-to-face and online sessions. For clients choosing in-person therapy, there is flexibility to combine face-to-face and online appointments, depending on availability, location, and what best suits the ongoing or short-term nature of the work. |
