Biography

I offer individual or couple therapy to those who are experiencing difficulties in their sexual lives. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals or couples where physical illness or injury has resulted in temporary or permanent changes in sexual expression or function. I have over 20 years clinical experience working in the NHS with individuals or couples whose sexual lives have been adversely affected by cancer and its treatment.
From 2021 I have worked with Perci Health Ltd: a specialist supportive cancer care telemedicine company. Through Perci Health I offer online psychosexual therapy (Tuesdays) for individuals or couples whose sexual lives have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Further details can be found on the Perci Health website at http://www.percihealth.com

From Oct 2024 I will be working as a psychosexual therapist at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London, offering online or phone based therapy to individuals / couples treated through this NHS Trust. (Weds / Thursdays).

I will also be offering “in person” therapy for treatment or illness related sexual difficulties at the Maggie’s centre, Edinburgh one day / week (Fridays) for any visitor to Maggie’s Edinburgh or anyone treated at the Edinburgh Cancer centre. Please contact Maggie’s Edinburgh on: 0131-537-3131 for further details.

I am a regular speaker at national and international conferences on the subject of cancer and sexuality and work collaboratively with a range of cancer charities to improve access to psychosexual support and practice.
