| Biography | I am an experienced Relationship and Psychosexual Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, with a background in specialist NHS psychosexual therapy within oncology. I currently work as a National Clinical Lead for Relationship and Psychosexual Therapy within a national charity organisation, alongside my private practice supporting individuals and couples. My work brings together relationship and psychosexual therapy, with particular expertise in the impact of cancer, long-term illness and medical treatment on sexuality, intimacy, body image and relationships. I work with a wide range of sexual and relationship difficulties, including differences in desire, erectile and ejaculatory difficulties, orgasmic difficulties, sexual pain, loss of intimacy, communication and conflict, infidelity, sexual trauma, and the impact of neurodiversity on relationships and sexual wellbeing. |
| Types of Therapy Used | I work integratively, drawing on systemic, psychodynamic, attachment-based and cognitive behavioural (CBT) approaches alongside specialist psychosexual and relationship therapy. Following a careful assessment, I develop an individualised treatment plan tailored to each person or couple, their presenting difficulties, history, relationships and therapeutic goals. |
