Psychosexual Therapy Qualifications

Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapy, with distinction

Biography

Hello, I’m Gianluca Failla, a Registered Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist (RegCOSRT) working with individuals and couples in London and online.

I support people experiencing difficulties with sex, intimacy and relationships, including low or mismatched sexual desire, sexual performance anxiety, erectile and orgasm difficulties, painful sex, sexual shame, loss of intimacy, communication difficulties and recurring relationship patterns.

My professional background includes over 10 years’ experience across sexual health and relational wellbeing, including work within NHS services and specialist settings. I also have particular experience supporting people around Chemsex, compulsive sexual behaviour and the intersection between sex, substances, relationships and emotional wellbeing.

My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirmative and inclusive of different genders, sexualities and relationship structures. I work with monogamous relationships as well as people exploring or practising polyamory, open relationships and ethical non-monogamy (ENM).

I understand that talking about sex and relationships can feel deeply personal, particularly when shame, anxiety or uncertainty are involved. My approach is warm, collaborative and non-judgemental. Rather than assuming what a healthy sex life or relationship should look like, we work together to understand what is happening and what you would like to feel different.

Alongside my psychosexual training, I bring extensive frontline experience supporting people with complex and sensitive concerns, grounded in both therapeutic knowledge and real-world sexual health experience.

I am currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Relationship Psychotherapy, further developing my work with attachment, couple dynamics and relational processes.
