Elpiniki Kalogeropoulou

I am a COSRT-registered Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist with a unique background, holding a PhD in Behavioural and Molecular Neurobiology from the University of Leeds. I have always been warm, empathetic, sex positive and full of curiousity. It is of no surprise that my path in life brought me here. After leaving my academic career behind, the level 7 qualification from CICS – Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship therapy – marked another big personal and professional tranformative step in my life.
To witness a person step out of trauma, reclaim their right to pleasure and reconnect with their body, or watch a couple move from silent containment to spontaneous intimacy through sensate focus, brings another type of joy that an academic achievement cannot give. I fullfilled my diploma’s and clinical placement’s requirements as a confident, grown and changed therapist. I am no longer just an academic, I am an attuned, resilient, deeply curious, deeply caring therapist, honoured to walk alongside my clients as they brave through vulnerability and conflict, and step into the meaning of human existence, learning to live and love, seeking connection unafraid.
