I have over 20 years of experience in providing cross-cultural therapy.  I specialise in working on sex and sexuality from a cultural lens.  I also have expertise in working with trauma, sexual and domestic violence, racial & ethnic identity and relationships – familial as well as romantic. I have a PhD in counselling psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, where I trained and specialised in multicultural counselling. I further specialised in psychosexual and relational therapy. I have expertise in working with different cultural worldviews, beliefs, values & diversity. I understand the importance of relationships, family, culture, inter-generational dynamics and community. I also work as a trainer/ lecturer and specialise in diversity training as well as comprehensive sexuality education. I divide my time between training, therapy and talking about culture and sex.
