| Psychosexual Therapy Qualifications |
I am a certified and registered clinical psychologist with a focus on sexuality, with therapy training from the University of Guelph in Canada (accredited by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors and Therapists) and from the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology in the UK (accredited by the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists).
My counselling insight draws from profound scientific knowledge in the field of psychosexuality. I hold a PhD degree and my scientific research on monogamy and non-monogamy is published in a prestigious Swiss journal Frontiers in Psychology: Sex, Gender and Sexuality. I have helped numerous couples deal with infidelity, navigate consensual non-monogamy, negotiate their monogamy agreements and find balance in their sexual desires. I also regularly attend scientific conferences as a presenter and I am a member of various professional bodies: – The College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (UK) – The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (UK)

| Biography | Psychosexual therapist, certified clinical psychologist, scientific researcher, PhD candidate. I am an experienced psychosexologist, who focuses primarily on the issues of non-monogamy (both infidelity and consensual non-monogamy), desire discrepancy in couples, sexual trauma and other to help people live happier and more fulfilling sexual lives. I am a true multinational – I grew up in Latvia, studied in Canada and the UK, travelled all over the world and lived on different continents. I am open and deeply aware of cultural and religious diversity and have extensive experience with helping my clients balance their sexual needs within the framework of their religious and cultural upbringing. I volunteer on a regular basis at crisis centres, support hotlines and social centres, helping pro bono those in acute need. I deeply believe in giving and provide free sessions to those who are in need and cannot afford psychosexual therapy. Contact me if you believe that there is a reason for you to receive therapy pro bono. As a psychologist, I have a pluralistic approach to clinical sexology, understanding that a wide range of different factors, including cognitive, genetic, social, family and neurological, contribute to an individual’s sexuality. I work with all genders, sexual identities and relationship arrangements. If you are a couple or an individual looking to address sexual concerns, desire discrepancies, explore sexual fantasies and fetishes or work with trauma related to sexual abuse, you should look no further. My soft demeanour and voice are very soothing and welcoming. I am easy to relate to, non-judgemental and sex-positive. |
