Biography	A nurse by background. I work in sexual health, and I previously ran a nurse-led sexual function clinic, seeing patient who presented with sexual difficulties. I’m a nurse representative in BASHH Sexual Function and Wellbeing Special Interest Group. I have found it important to appreciate the mixed origin of sexual difficulties, and to notice when and where pharmacological and other psychological interventions are needed and applicable. As sexual difficulties seldom exist in isolation, addressing relationship issues provides couples with skills to communicate their needs, fears and hopes better.
