New thematic accredited training added

COSRT is delighted to add a new thematic accredited training to the COSRT portfolio i.e. The Counselling School’s Diploma in Couples and Relationship Therapy which is accredited at level 5. We wish this course every success.

Thematic training courses cover themes integral to good quality Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy practice.  The knowledge gained during these courses contributes to increasing practitioner skills and knowledge, and all lead to a form of qualification after assessment which can count towards the COSRT accreditation requirements.

Thematic Training courses are assigned levels that reflect how advanced content and learning outcomes are.  These ‘COSRT Levels’ range from one to seven and are informed by the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), European Qualification Framework (EQF), and QAA benchmark standards for counselling and psychotherapy.

Courses accredited under this ‘level’ system also have verified Guided Learning and Total Qualification Time hours.  Guided Learning is the amount of learning activity under the immediate guidance or supervision of a lecturer, supervisor, tutor or other appropriate providers of education or training.  The Total Qualification Time refers to how much time it would take an average learner to complete the course.
