Psychosexual Therapy is highly specialised and changes lives for the better. Services are provided across the NHS and many working in them report increases in service users, funding and staff. But provision is uneven, with others highlighting funding challenges or service closures. This high impact, highly sought after therapy must not be reserved for those able to ‘go private’. Nor should access be dictated by geography. COSRT calls on the Government to increase investment in these specialist services in the ten year mental health plan.
