COSRT holds a dedicated Supervisor Membership Register. This is a public record of therapists who meet standards of experience, knowledge, and training in supervision. The Register is aimed at promoting professional standards and public protection.
COSRT strongly recommends that anyone carrying out supervision joins the COSRT Supervisor Register, and that anyone seeking supervision only uses registered supervisors.
Entry to the Supervisor Register is achieved requires that a Member (Registered Membership or above) shows suitable training and experience. There are two categories that Supervisors can hold:
- Registered Supervisor
- Accredited Supervisor
The second of these shows that a supervisor has significant practical experience and more demonstrable training.

COSRT has set the benchmark for supervision and this is reflected in our Supervisor Register and associated ‘add-on’ membership categories.
Registered
‘Bolt on’ for Registered or Accredited members who are active supervisors, but do not meet supervision accreditation standards.
Accredited
‘Bolt-on’ category designed for Registered and Accredited members who are experienced and qualified supervisors.
