COSRT is delighted to present our latest online seminar. This five hour live event, called ‘Loss and Grief in Covid-19’ will be presented by Sally Openshaw, on Saturday 3rd October.
The seminar will encourage reflection on the impact of Covid-19, on you as a person and as a therapist, with reference to traumatic models and theories of loss and grief.
Sally Openshaw is a senior, accredited sexual and relationship therapist. She has an interest in loss and grief from her experiences working in Hospice settings and as a Macmillan nurse. As a therapist, she continues to supervise in a hospice setting, and appreciates the value of multiple theories of loss and grief. During the Covid-19 pandemic, like all of you, her losses have come in many forms. Some gains have been unexpected and life changing.
The day will include:
- To recall privately your own story in this pandemic
- To appreciate the traumatic response to the threat that Covid-19 has brought
- To use theories of loss and grief to understand the impact of loss
- To reflect on the gains and new developments for us as practitioners
- To identify going forward the changes on our self-identity and future practice
We are expecting this day to be incredibly popular so please book early to avoid disappointment. Please book on the training here.
