COSRT’s annual conference on Saturday 13 June, will look at the parenting relationship in 2020 covering all stages of parenthood from conception and infertility through to the relationship when the child has flown the nest.
The conference will look at the changing roles of parents in 2020 and the challenges that may bring to a relationship covering these key elements:
• Infertility and different routes to parenthood
• The changing role of the parent in 2020
• The modern family from blended step-parenting, single parenting, same-sex parenting, polyamorous parenting, as well as fostering, adoption and donor parenting.
• Sex and parenthood
• The relationship after parenting
Plenary and discussion sessions will be complemented by break-out sessions, exhibitor stands and presentations.
There will also be a World Café during lunch giving people the opportunity to discuss and feedback on not only the conference theme but also COSRT as an organisation. A World Café is a structured conversational process for knowledge sharing in which groups of people discuss a topic at several tables, with individuals switching tables periodically and getting introduced to the previous discussion at their new table by a “table host”.
