I Lost Weight But Lost My Husband!
It is always assumed that weight loss will make people happy and give them, not only a great body, but also a fabulous relationship. The reality however is far from true as often the weight loss disturbs the balance of the relationship. Jo and Darren, who I worked with in this programme, were a couple who were struggling to reconnect after Jo’s weight loss of 10 stone. Jo worked so hard to lose her weight to improve her health, but then found herself battling to save her relationship after making lifestyle changes with food and exercise. I have worked with clients suffering with morbid obesity for many years using a psychological approach to the particular difficulties that this group face. View the programme.
“The Week the Women Came” is a warm and witty documentary about two ordinary British women, who were united in their pursuit of satisfying, more orgasmic sex. Over the course of the summer, they received expert help from Trudy Hannington, one of the UK’s leading psychosexual therapists. With regular therapy sessions and ‘homework’ to carry out with their partners, each woman embarked on a journey of sexual reawakening to confront their loss of libido or inability to orgasm head-on. This fabulous programme goes out in October the release date to be confirmed.
