The work COSRT does is made possible thanks to the volunteers who sit on our committees and the Board of Trustees.
The two main committees that make up the Management Board are the Professional Standards Board (PSB) and the Public and Professional Relations Committee (PPRC).
These committees meet only about four times a year, often by telephone, although there is work to do between meetings. There are also a number of committees that report to these two main committees such as the Ethics Committee and the Assessors’ Panel. They all welcome interested and committed volunteers.
Volunteering can be hard work, great fun and very interesting. You will learn a great deal about the professional issues affecting your profession and grapple with the challenges facing COSRT. Committee experience will enhance your CV and count towards your annual CPD. COSRT will reimburse any reasonable expenses you incur in your work as a committee volunteer.
Board of Trustees
The members of the Board of Trustees are also volunteers. They are responsible for the overall governance and management of the charity.
Vacancies on our Board of Trustees are advertised on this site when they arise. If you would like to get more involved in COSRT by becoming a volunteer committee member, please contact our CEO, Corinna Furse, on email@example.com
